it is good question.
i would like to answer it this way. supppose there is storm coming up would you like to prepare before hand so that you go through the storm with minimum damage or would you let the strom go by and then do the repair work.
Morning is preferred time for yoga. empty stomach is the prerequisite for doing yoga. but if one is not finding time doing regularly at given time is more important than not doing it at all

It depends on your schedule and what you’re most comfortable with.
some like to start their day with yoga in order to feel calm and fresh for the day. Others like to end their day with yoga to relieve stress from the workplace and stretch a stiff body.
Try both and see what you prefer.
