The problem with us is that we recoganize only certian type of intelligence and our idea of intelligence is very restrictive, securing good marks, getting a god job, distinction etc. Whatever doesn't fit this criteria we don't consider it as intelligence. Anything which is created by thought is not intelligence because thoughts are always mechanical and intelligence has no measure at all. Introspection helps you to improve your ability and meditation is the knowledge the self which is the begining of wisdom.
