Hi Samit, Giving the GRE a 2nd attempt is something which a lot of students do, and most often they do find a score improvement. Since you've already experienced the real test once you'd know your strengths and weakness on the test, your first step should be to identify what went right and what went wrong on the test day, once you have a basic understanding of where you stand you would be suggested to pick modules which you felt were difficult or where you didn't score well and spend more time on solving those questions, for e.g if you found RC difficult, practice more RC questions and so on. Another factor to keep in mind is time management, were you able to finish your sections on time? if not it'd be extremely important to learn how to do so. Your Plan of action should be as follows: - Asses & Analyze your first attempt - Identify tough Modules and pick pool of questions - Practice these questions - Take as Many Mock tests as you can ( Timed) - Keep a check on your progress - Ensure your strong areas dont suffer Good Luck read less

Since you already gave your GRE once, you might have a fair idea of what your weak points were. Try focusing on those weak points instead of doing the stuff you already knew. I'll give you an example. I gave my first GRE on 16th August 2016, and my score was 164Q 150V 4AWA. I had my toefl on 8th Oct and decided to give GRE again on 28th October 2016. So, from 8th till 28th, all I did was improve and practiced my skills of Graphs, Statistics and Data Interpretation. Meanwhile, I knew I wouldn't be able to mugg up 3000 words in 20 days, So I concentrated on Reading Section instead. On 28th October 2016, I scored 170Q 155V 4AWA. All you have to do is have faith in yourself, and be brave enough to recognize and accept your weak points and work on those, no matter how much you hate it or how much frustrating it is. read less
