The registration fee for GRE general test 2018 is 14,091 INR (approx). Payment can be made through American Express, Discover, JCB, Mastercard and Visa credit cards or debit cards. Payment by e-check (for U.S. bank accounts only) is also an option. Paypal and voucher numbers can also be used. If you have paid the GRE test fee by pay cheque or money order, you will receive the confirmation documents via mail service. While opting for the mail service, you need to fill and send GRE general test authorization voucher request form and apply for the GRE test.
The registration fee for GRE subject test 2018 is 10,311 INR (approx). For paper version GRE test, payment can be made via e-cheque, credit/debit card, western union quick pay service, money order, voucher and quick pay.
If you are paying GRE fees by cheque facility, you should abide by the following rules:
a) The cheque should carry the bank name and address of the bank.
b) Cheque should also contain pre-printed cheque number, payee name and address.
c) The cheque should not be more than 90-days old.
1) Candidates appearing for GRE computerized test must carry:
Valid and acceptable identity proof
Authorization voucher (if required)
Copy of GRE confirmation email
2) Candidates appearing for GRE paper test must carry:
Valid and acceptable identity proof
Copy of GRE confirmation email
Pencil and eraser
The ID proof that you provide on the test day must meet the following requirements –
Must be an original document. Photocopied documents are not accepted. Documents cannot be presented on a cell phone or any other electronic device.
Must be a government-issued national or state or province identity card that is recognised by the country in which you are a citizen or permanent resident.
Must be valid. Expired documents are not accepted.
Must bear your first and last name exactly as it was when registering for the test.
Must include a recent, recognizable photograph.
Must include your signature. The name and signature on the ID document must match.
