Initially i dont know whether i can do exercises and can lose postpartom pregnancy's weight but slowly its happening and am very much happy and thank ful to bharathi mam. "I was relictant to join ( due to my age and health issues) and kept dodging, thinking I won't be able to do it, and would make a fool of myself. But my daughter forced me and asked me to attend 2 free classes. After that, I realised that I enjoyed myself, which I think is very important at my age. Whether I am doing 100percent is doubtful, but I don't give up and try my best. Best thing is I am slowly loosing my stiffness and feel more flexible. "

Yes, it's safe. You can do pranayama and supine and prone asanas without affecting the knee. We can do some sitting asanas. Also, 35 + is not old age; they are still young. If they are active, so no problem, don't wait; start doing.
