Try Googling for ‘pay what you can’ yoga classes where you live. You might be surprised at what’s available.

Expensive or affordable depends on person to person
One not just pays for the yoga itself but for the ambience , expertise and overall experience
There are free classes available as well but people dont feel committed to anything free. Also, its a full time job for many, inflation affects everyone.
Instead of paying huge amount in surgeries and medical expenses, spend on yoga.
