However the benefits of practising yoga are immense if done in a correct and traditional way rather than modern artistic ways

Yoga asanas in general are recommended to be followed in a sequence with counter asanas for every asana to avoid stiffness and muscle cramping or ligament strains
For ex if one performs cobra pose then it must be followed by doing child pose to avoid lower back stiffness or cramping .
