Can yoga make you sore? Of course it can! If you're just getting back into your practice after some time away or tried some postures that aren't part of your usual routine, it perfectly normal to feel sore after yoga.

There are good pain and bad pain. If you feel bad pain, means the practice was dangerous and not professional, if you feel good pain , means your practice was correct.

Yes, It is pretty normal to feel sore after the initial days at the Yoga Asana class. The body takes time to acquaint itself with the new movements. 

This soreness may fade with regular practice. However, if you allow the soreness to seep in and decide not to move, the soreness will come back when you begin again. It is thus advisable to keep practicing under supervision, amid light soreness.

The soreness after yoga is normal.But extreme pain and discomfort after yoga is not normal.It means one is doing practice beyond his limitation and doing wrong postures of yoga.
