Teacherji initiated a survey and reached out to several Yoga institutes in the country with an intent to find best places to learn Yoga Schools in India. We are featuring all the Yoga institutes that responded to our Survey questionnaire. In second of this series, We're featuring School of Santhi, Yoga School, Trivandrum.

1. Who founded your Yoga institute and when?
Swami Santhiprasad in 1998
2. How big is your facility for yoga training?
We mainly conduct Yoga Teachers Training Programmes at three Levels. Daily yoga classes are also being conducted.
3. How many trainers do you have? Permanent vs Visiting?
The School has more than 90 trainers spread across the world. There are 7 trainers based at Trivandrum.
4. Can you share profiles of your best Yoga Trainers?
All the trainers are well qualified and hold international yoga certifications.
5. How many students does your organization teach yoga every month?
Varies from 20 to 40.
6. What are the different yoga courses/ programmes that you conduct?
One month Teachers Training Course Programs at three Levels, Regular Yoga and Meditation classes and Workshops on Kundalini Yoga.
7. Do you conduct programs for Yoga trainers?
Yes, Our primary focus is towards yoga trainers program (i.e. TTC) and most of our Yoga courses are TTC oriented. We trained around 80 yoga trainers in last 12 months.
8. Tell us about some of your major affiliations, awards and certifications (if any)
Our School is affiliated to International Yoga Federation , Yoga Alliance US and Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University. We're also member of World Yoga council.
9. Is your institute involved in to Yoga Research? If yes, give some details?
Yes. Research is mainly on Kundalini and related topics. Documented papers have been published both by the School and presented in Annamalai Univerrsity.
10. Has your organization organized/conducted any major Yoga event?
During the past 12 months we have conducted workshops at Kovalam, Kallar, Varkala in Kerala, Ravenna and Faenza in Italy, Stockholm in Sweden and at Athens in Greece.
11. Any other comment or Information that you would want to provide.
School plans to start regular PG Programs in Yoga affiliated to TPES University from the current year onwards.
