Overview

GRE- I have scored 325/340 in GRE without any formal training. I have a good background in English and Mathematics which are the two critical sections in the GRE. I have scored 90% in English in both my 10th and 12th Grade exams. I have also scored 98% in my 12th grade mathematics from Andhra Board which is considered to be of a higher standard in Mathematics, in comparison to other boards across India. I have also done my Mechanical Engineering from R.V College of Engineering in Bangalore, a premier institute in Karnataka. I believe I have good communication skills and am very patient. I believe I can explain seemingly tough concepts in simple ways

Basketball- I was the only player from Karnataka boys to be selected for the national training camp for sub-junior boys. I have played three nationals and numerous state and national college level tournaments. I have also coached a few children in my apartment.

I am great with children and would love to work within the age group of 8-15 years and improve their skills in general, which would not only ensure better basketball skills , but also discipline and work ethic which would enhance all facets of their lives.

Advanced course work, assignments, and maybe even the start of your projects. I would suggest studying for the GRE during the holidays (either christmas or summer holidays) and writing it immediately after the holidays. you will need about two months of solid preparation , so I would suggest summer holidays. I wrote mine in my 7th semester after preparing in the summer holidays

That is a relative question. It depends on many factors which include but are not restricted to level of english proficiency, comfort with basic mathematics, and whether you can study part time or full time(depending on your other commitments) and most importantly - your target score. I would say it would take around 2 months of 3-4 hours a day to get a decent score of 320+.

300 in GRE is not at all tough to achieve- let me explain why. The revised general test for GRE consists of 2 sections- Quantitative and Verbal which are nothing but Maths and English. Now, these marks are actually nothing but a relative graded score- that is to say the scores are evaluated from 140-170. Thats right! The minimum possible score is 140. This means, the least possible score that you will get is a 280. Not bad huh?So, let me again state that cracking 300 is not as tough as it sounds. Yes, anything above 320 requires a lot of practice and dedication, and to be honest, with the competition nowadays, a score of 300 is not a good target to aim for. Most good colleges would like to see a score of 320+ for their applicants.
