Professionally Personal trainers are not trained to treat any mental health issues, but they can indirectly help you relieve stress, keep you motivated and increase self-confidence by doing physical exercise which gives you a feel good factor. But if you are struggling with any serious mental health issues. Visiting a Professional will be best.

Both have their own advantages and purpose. It's upon you to identify what is your fitness goal and what will be the best to achieve it. And I guess by gym you mean physical exercise, whic can be done anywhere regardless of the location under the guidence of a fitness professional. Ya so it would be much easier to decide what will be best for you after setting a goal.

In simple words the answer is, start doing physical exercise to increase your hunger. after that increase the right quantity of food as per your hunger. Be consistent with the routine and make changes gradually.

Yes yoga can help you, but it is better to know the actual reason for your problems. I would suggest you to get it first get yourself checked by a doctor. To dignose the exact problem.
Second thing you can do is observe your sitting posture and eating habits. because those can be the main reasons for your problems.
