Yes it is possible without any tuition or guidance Too !!
I got 86% in 12 CBSE BOARD EXAM in 2013 and without coaching or tuition .
Here some points which I followed :-
• Revised every subject at least thrice
• Sovle past years papers min 5yrs -max 10 yes
• Pay very attentions to your WRITTING SKILLS or Answer Writing
• Attempt some model/mock test papers for improving writing speed ESPECIALLY THE OFFICIAL SAMPLE PAPER ISSUIED BY CBSE
I Hope it will help you too ...
BEST OF LUCK !! :)
In case you want to know the difference b/w tuition & coaching .. Which one to choose ??
Ans :- Tuition is always better than coaching
Because :-
• 1-on-1 dialogue is better than Monologue (its like watching a TV without any feedback)
• less students - less unnessary talking - less(or No) wastage of time ,money & Effort
• tutor can interact with student and even an average student can be turn into diamond.
• tutor can also help with WRITING SKILLS which is completly absent in Coaching Centre.
[Writing skills is the sole of education because ultimately you shall be getting marks on the basis of your very writing]
• Tutor can tell you some tricks & tips for remember the subject matter on your cosy .
Hence . we drive conclusion :-
Coaching centre with big crowd , where last benchers cannot even see the gestures of teacher , IS A PLACE WHERE STUDENTS GO FOR CHILL OUT AND INCREASING THEIR BOYZONED OR GIRLZONED !!

read lessfirst of all, if you are capable to solve all problems which are related to ur subject, then you dont need any coaching and tutions. you have to manage your time management , you have to give min 1 hr for maths and 2 or 3 hr for other subjects with concentration.Concentration is very imp for your study. Get idea from google(tutorial, youtube) and write down on your paper. make a sheet(hard copy) where you put all small tricks and put maths formulae.learn everyday. solve 10 yr back papers and manage time management of solution of your questions. one thing is very imp that you should have good basic knowledge.if base is strong , no need any extra. for example- if base of a building is strong so building will never break down. that is the point.
Thank You
read lessIt is impossible. Shocked to see this answer.
The word impossible says I'm possible.
Hence, scoring 90% plus is not at all a problem.
Firstly, you need to be strong in basics and also must have good understanding of the concepts in physics and chemistry. In case of mathematics, good and consistent practice is very important. Write down formulas and important derivations in another book and hence go through them at the time of examination. Also, make sure that you complete studying the syllabus 1 month before the exams and hence have sufficient time for revision.
Finally attend the exam with peace of mind and complete the exam with 20 mins remaining so that enough time is left for revision of the paper.
All the Best

It is very much possible if your basics are very strong and you are completely thorough with all the topics of 11th std, you need to capitalise on that and start preparaing seriously from the very beginning of your 12th std. There are many free resources available online as well, so you could go through them and learn really well.
Now, to talk about all the problems one could face by self preparation:
1. Your teachers in schools have to be exceptional and teach everything in detail, which is highly unlikely since they are always worried about completion of portions on time.
2. If you have a particular doubt, you will hav to watch videos or read lessons online thereby wasting a lot of time. Even if you post your doubt as a question on an online forum, you will have to check every now and then to see if you received your answer. again, waste of time.
3. Learning and understanding something without deep analysis is again dangerous for you, especially in physics where there are lot of varitaions or slight changes according to each condition.
Its upto you to decide now. All the best.

If you have been scoring above 75% or 80% in Maths so far, it most certainly is! But only if you're very disciplined and are willing to work hard - and that in an organised manner!
1. You need to make a proper weekly schedule - calculate how many chapters in each subject you need to complete each week to be able to finish your portions by mid-Dec. (You will need the time after that for revision and solving of sample papers and previous years' papers. ) Then make sure that you stick to it! Work really hard during the week and adjust your weekend plans (one needs recreation and fun too!) to make sure that you are on track wih respect to your schedule by end of Sunday.
2. How you go about studying matters! Check if your text book will give you adequate preparation. If not, you will have to plan to work from another reference book too. (For instance, for Maths, most CBSE schools ask the students to work from the R S Aggarwal reference book in addition to the NCERT text book.) For Maths, plan to read all the solved examples and solve at least every alternate sum from the reference book.
3. Develop good work habits.
(a) Mark any theory/concept, any formula, any solved example, any question in the exercises that you find difficult with an asterisk so that you will not miss revising them and re-solving them while revising for your exams.
(b) Keep track of all doubts in one place and track them till they have been cleared. Get help from friends or school teachers to resolve all your doubts within a couple of days. Do not let a backlog of doubts accumulate! You may find solutions to questions online too.
(c) For subjects such as Maths and Physics, it may be a good idea to write down all the formuale in a different notebook so that you can easily revise them the day before your exam.
(d) If you can find a good book of CHAPTER-wise sample papers or question banks, buy it. It will help you to prepare for unit tests and term exams in school. The full-portion tests can be attempted only after you have completed all the portions and, by that time, you will usually be very strapped for time. I would recommend the Arihant Publications All-in-One books.
(e) Solving sums at your own pace right up to the Board exam is not enough. It is important for you to know that you will do well in an exam environment with the pressure of a time constraint. So solve at least 7 - 10 previous years' papers or sample tests in a timed fashion, sitting in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed for 3 hours. Solve it exactly as you would in your Board exam. Utilize the reading time effectively to select your questions. When the time is up, resist the temptation to continue and put your pen down! Then score the test honestly using the marking scheme (they are available on the CBSE website)!
If you follow all these tips and work hard and in an organised manner, you should be able to get much more than 90%!
Good luck!
