IdentityI have ten years of experience teaching mathematics. I hold an MSc in Mathematics, and teaching has always been a personal interest of mine. One of my proudest moments as a teacher was when one of my students scored 98% on their tenth-grade exams.
I primarily teach students from grades eight to tenth, covering Math and Science for both CBSE and ICSE boards. I prefer conducting offline individual classes as I believe in giving personalised attention to each student. This way, I can understand their strengths and weaknesses better and tailor my teaching methods accordingly. I create a well-structured lesson plan to ensure comprehensive coverage of the syllabus. My interactive classes encourage students to participate actively in discussions and problem-solving.
I prefer teaching in a notebook during my classes, as it allows students to take notes and refer back to them later. This method effectively enhances their understanding and retention of the topics we cover. Additionally, I provide my own set of notes and practice papers to supplement their learning. These materials are carefully curated to overview the subject matter comprehensively.
I conduct monthly tests to assess my student's progress and understanding. These assessments not only help me gauge their knowledge but also provide an opportunity for students to identify areas where they need improvement. I believe that regular testing is crucial in reinforcing concepts and boosting their confidence. My teaching approach revolves around creating a conducive learning environment where students can actively engage with the subject matter. I am passionate about imparting knowledge and ensuring that my students excel academically and develop a genuine interest in the subjects I teach.
