Supplements are only a temporary solution however once you're off the supplements the fat may come back. Therefore you need ways to not be dependent on supplements but rather focus on fastening up your metabolism so that you can start burning fat faster. You can do this with regular yoga practice everyday, especially with asanas that focus on your core. If you can also couple this with a healthy diet where instead of eating 3 big meals a day, you eat 5 small meals. Another important thing is to reduce your carbohydrate intake after 4pm. Ensure you eat at least 3 hours before you sleep. If you practice all of this, I guarantee you that not only will see a difference in your belly fat, but you will also feel more energetic, and will be able to stay healthy for a long duration.

A householder is as important if not more important than the bread-earner. And it is my strong recommendation that a householder practice yoga. Not only does it help deal with the stress of day to day activities which I personally feel can lead to more stress for householder as there are no holidays or weekends and its a 24x7 responsibility, but we also, we have to be mindful that a householder has to nurture the home and make a house a home, which requires immense amount of compassion, patience, love, emotional presence, awareness and trust. Yoga is not just the practice of asana but its a lifestyle which comprises of all 8 limbs Patanjali spoke about in the Yogasutras. And hence it can help any individual to be happy, content, aware, focused and present in the here and now. I'm sure all people, house-holder or not can benefit from yoga.

Pranayama or breathing techniques that cool you down or lower your BP like Shitali, sheetkali. You could also try simple deep yogic breathing. Apart from this balancing asanas like tree pose or prayer pose really help in controlling anger for the future as it grounds you, balances you and increases focus,... ...more
