Yes, learning Excel by watching Youtube videos could be one of the ways by which you can learn. By that need not be the case for all. It differs from one person to another. Some of them prefer hiring a tutor, and others prefer learning online at their own pace. Whatever the means of learning is, you'll have to apply the knowledge in the right place at the right time. Excel is not just about knowing more formulas but also implying it at the right time. So, if you're comfortable learning from watching Youtube videos, then go for it. Dear Sirish, your questions is without any specification of student type. I have observed that people prefer classroom training instead of the video but at the same time, I have learned complete MS Power BI online. For some people this works. You can try it too.
However, its not the best method. FREE stuff is not always the best.
You need someone who can teach based on real life excel files used by companies and based on real professional experience. If you think you want to build very good Excel skills and learn from someone who has been through it, then may be you need to invest in building that skill for you.
