I am a Krav Maga (Israeli Self defense form) instructor so will tell few lines about it. Best self defense system will be the one which can be acquired by any human being without being taken into account gender, age, strength and even disabilities. Krav maga is a system which was developed in Israel by "Imi Lichtenfeld" and currently being used worldwide by civillians and most of the armed forces including the special forces. It can be learned by male, female, kids, adult and even aged people. It has been also adapted for people with disabilities as well. Effective self defense system is that which you can use in any situation weather you are wearing shorts or saree doesn't matters. Krav maga is world's fastest growing martial arts/self defense system without and barrier. It is designed so well that from your first class itself you have some techniques which increases your survival chance in the streets. Secondly, if you seems that first one isn't working then attack on the enemy vital point with full force, Quick and sudden attack. When the attacker collapsed leave that place immediately and call the cops and your nearest one as well. All martial arts are good. We can't say that one martial art is better than the other.
