There are various type of statistics
1) Biostatistics
2) Inferential statistics
3) Descriptive Statistics
Two main statistical methods are used in data analysis:
Descriptive statistics:
Which summarise data from a sample using indexes such as the mean or standard deviation
inferential statistics:
Which conclude data that are subject to random variation (e.g., observational errors, sampling variation)
Where the Mean median mode is called Measure of central tendency
Range, Standard deviation and variance is called Measure of dispersion
