GMAT score alone does not guarantee admission into any of the top college in the US. Each of these B-Schools considers a variety of factors (this is called your profile) when making admission decisions. This consists of your experience, previous academic performance, your recommendations and finally, your essays. Based on your profile, you may be shortlisted for interview, and subsequently the admission decision is made.
