GMAT exam dates are flexible, unlike other MBA entrance exams in India that have a fixed test date. Since it can be taken multiple times; so, in case a candidate has a low GMAT score, he/she can re-take the exam after a gap of 16 days.
As the GMAT exam takes place throughout the year it can be scheduled at an available convenient date at the nearest test centre. All over the world, there are 600 test centres across 114 countries, and India along has 39 test centres spread across 34 cities. However, it is better to register early if you want a time slot and date of your choice as these spots may get filled up soon. You are allowed to register up to six months in advance for the GMAT.
However, a maximum of five attempts is allowed in a year with the total number of attempts at the GMAT in a lifetime being eight.
It’s advised that you keep yourself updated with the Admission Deadlines at B-schools of your choice and book your GMAT Exam date much prior to the given deadlines.
