Experience: Network Specialist, Aricent Inc. — May 2009 — June 2014
Started as a Network Associate for Cisco’s Technical Assistance Centre (Cisco TAC) where my main profile was to monitor and fix Cisco devices related issues for European Telecom providers like Belgacom, Telecom Italia, Oranges and British Telecom.
Was promoted 3 times in the span of 4 years and concluded my responsibilities with the company as a Network Specialist working on designing and researching new network designs and devices for implementation in home offices as well as multinational companies.
Also as a Subject Matter Expert here, I was responsible for training and mentoring the newcomers in the team, developing refresher training programmes for existing team members.

Responsibilities held here included managing a team of 12 to 15 tech support executives and their interactions with AT&T’s DSL customers. Here I also played a key role in their voice, accent and technical training that led to the creation of various modules and refresher courses for the team members.

Skills: I like to think of myself as a natural problem solver and a thinker. Since childhood, I have participated in various competitions and volunteer drives to help myself grow and contribute to the society in any way I can. Through these experiences I have gained the ability to express myself in an effective way to the others, helping people believe they can trust me, and doing an effective root cause analysis of a problem so that it can be permanently resolved.
Besides all this, I have been raised in an environment where books and cultural literacy was all around me, making me conquer the art of writing and speaking Hindi and English quite skilfully. I also pride myself on being hands on where I tend to explore and learn new things.
Everyday, I strive to improve myself by learning something new.
