In my half-decade-long journey as a TOEFL coach, I have successfully guided hundreds of students towards their dream of studying in an English-speaking environment. For the Reading section, I've developed comprehensive strategies to aid students in swiftly comprehending, analyzing, and summarizing complex passages. I instill techniques of skimming and scanning, along with the identification of key points and themes. In Listening, my training exercises are carefully curated to cover a range of accents and speech speeds. I employ various multimedia resources to make the sessions interactive, aiding students in understanding the speaker's perspective and intent. When it comes to Speaking, my personalized feedback helps students articulate their thoughts clearly and confidently. I prioritize fluency, pronunciation, and use of complex sentence structures to ensure they express their views effectively. Finally, for the Writing section, I work closely with students to improve their ability to construct coherent and compelling essays. I emphasize grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and organization of ideas. I encourage them to develop and voice their perspectives, fostering critical thinking skills. My journey as a GRE tutor has been nothing short of a fulfilling adventure. I've been guiding students through the labyrinth of GRE for the past five years. In this period, I've trained over 200 students from diverse backgrounds, each with their unique strengths and areas of improvement. Whether it was Quant, Verbal, or Analytical Writing, I took it upon myself to break down complex concepts into simpler, digestible parts. I believe every student has a different learning curve and it's essential for a tutor to match that pace. So, I made sure to adopt a personalised approach for each one of them. I have also worked as a freelancer, offering online classes to students across the country. This experience was unique in its own way as it gave me the exposure to a broader spectrum of students, from working professionals to fresh undergraduates. This required me to become flexible and adapt to different learning styles and schedules. Being a BITS Pilani alumnus, I understand the rigour and discipline required for such competitive exams. My approach is not just about clearing concepts, but also about building strategies and enhancing problem-solving speed, key skills needed to crack the GRE. But teaching for me is a two-way street. As much as I have taught, I have also learned from my students, their determination, their struggles, and their victories. This has shaped me into a more empathetic and effective tutor, ready to steer my students towards their dream scores on the GRE.

As an IELTS coach for over five years, my teaching experience has been enriched by mentoring a diverse range of students, each with unique learning styles and objectives. My approach is holistic, focusing on the four key IELTS components - Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. For the Listening section, I employ real-world audio samples to familiarize students with various accents and enhance their comprehension skills. Carefully curated exercises enable them to discern key details, follow conversations, and understand the context. In the Reading section, I provide tailored strategies to tackle different question types and manage time efficiently. Students learn to skim and scan texts, identify main ideas, and interpret data effectively. The Writing module is addressed through a systematic approach, training students to write clear, well-structured responses, both for Task 1's graphical or process descriptions and Task 2's essay writing. Emphasis is placed on vocabulary, grammar, coherence, and cohesion. Finally, for the Speaking section, I create a supportive environment for students to express their ideas confidently. Through mock interviews and interactive activities, they improve their fluency, pronunciation, and lexical resource. My teaching experience is marked by my students' success and their increased proficiency and confidence in using English, a testament to the personalized, result-oriented teaching strategies I employ.
