Yoga's origins date back to prehistoric times, with formalization occurring during the Vedic period (1500–500 BCE) and further development in the Classical period (200 BCE–500 CE). The philosophy deepened in the Upanishads (800–200 BCE), and various yoga schools emerged post-classically (500–1500 CE). In the modern era (19th century–present), yoga experienced a global revival, thanks to influential figures like Swami Vivekananda. I personally follow Vethathiri Maharishi's Simplified Kundalini Yoga (SKY) for comprehensive well-being

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and physically demanding style of yoga that emphasizes synchronizing breath with a progressive series of postures. The term "Ashtanga" translates to "eight limbs" in Sanskrit, referring to the eightfold path outlined by the sage Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras.
Ashtanga yoga was popularized by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, who developed the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method in the 20th century. This method consists of a set sequence of poses that are practiced in a specific order, with each movement coordinated with either an inhale or an exhale of breath. The practice is typically performed in a flowing, dynamic manner, creating a continuous, meditative movement.

Dear Hiteshpatel,
First wishing you to recover from this illness soon.
Yes, Yoga can help you to overcome low back pain and gut health as well.
For low back pain, simplified physical and breathing exercises needs to be practised on daily basis post assessment from my side or anyone who is experienced yoga master.
For gut health improvement, need to regulate your food, work, sleep, regular physical and mental exercises. Post assessment, you can start practising this and see the results through your experience.
For every human being, physical and mental exercises is fundamental hence it helps you to prevent disease in future and keep yourself actice till your last breath.
Be blessed.
