You Class 10 results for the board exams genuinely doesn't affect your JEE preparation. This is because there are other subjects along with maths and science in it. Even so, if you have gotten low marks in those subjects the class 10 knowledge will be quite minimal in your preparation, and by the time you are a couple months in your class 10 knowledge will be rock solid due to repetitive questions. If your subject is a bit weak then it will require a small bit of extra effort in the beginning.
