With experience in teaching, I have provided extensive 1-on-1 help. I am able to quickly zero-in on the central difficulty or confusion, and solve it - using example-laden dialogue. My focus on problem solving is to steer away from rote learning, and instead gain a systems view of a topic. I encourage scientific temperament as the best tool for future career competence. Towards this, I help with project-based learning help to parents who are home-schooling.

My prime passion is science. I have worked in research, outreach, as well as education. I have had the good fortune of teaching at two of India's best schools. I am a Marie Curie doctoral fellow, and presently a doctoral researcher (MAGNETI/IJS, Slovenia) working on magnetism in nanomaterials. I have a master's degree (KTH, Sweden) in materials science, with thesis in engineering materials physics - where I studied the magnetism of amorphous materials. I have a bachelor's degree (Nagpur University, India) in mechanical engineering - with focus on materials and systems design.
