Yoga vidhya is sanatana. Sanatana means timeless or the absolute truth (sat). Yoga is true knowledge that is true all the time i.e ancient, medivieal and modern time.

Whole spectrum of activities of living entities, srila Prabhupada call as Sanatan yoga. Because these activities (or principles behind these activities) are eternal(sanatan) and ultimate aim is union with supreme lord (yoga), he calls it as Sanatan yoga.
