They are two different ways to connect with Paramatma (The Almighty).

In Karma Yoga one does action knowing that he is nothing but Atma (a part of Paramatma) and without having any desire or expectations of results from his action (Karmafal). He considers all his actions being done not by himself but by the supreme will of The Almighty and treats himself just a medium.

In Bhakti Yoga one devotes himself entirely to Paramatma, stives to connect with the supreme Almighty through different means. Bhakt Prahlad has described 9 such ways namely..shravan, kirtan, smaran, bandan, paad sevan, archan, dasya, sakhya and Atma nibedan. The sole purpose of this Yoga is keeping oneself engrossed in Iswar prem ( love‎ with Almighty).

Karma yoga and Bhakti yoga are two different paths of yoga practiced in Hinduism.

Karma yoga is the path of selfless action and service. It emphasizes performing one's duty without attachment to the results, and without expecting any reward or recognition for the action. The goal of karma yoga is to purify the mind and to develop a sense of detachment from worldly desires and attachments.

On the other hand, Bhakti yoga is the path of devotion and love towards God. It emphasizes the cultivation of a loving relationship with God through prayer, chanting, and other devotional practices. The goal of Bhakti yoga is to develop a deep sense of love and devotion towards God, and to ultimately merge with the divine.

While both paths are focused on spiritual growth and liberation, they differ in their approach. Karma yoga is focused on action and selfless service, while Bhakti yoga is focused on devotion and love towards God.
