Interviews are for the best, always there is complete transperency, and no influence works here, as MR.Rabinder, is a trust worthy person, they see the future of each individual child. What is more improtant is results in academics at the end of the day.

Vidyasagar uniform t-shirt is so bad that child at our house cries everyday & have spoken to so many people they also have the same issue. why can't it be changed & made comfortable for a child. the problem is the button patti length is so short that it does`nt come out from head.

I doubt if she is elegible for 2015 Batch.
She should be completing 2 Years by June .

However , just visit School once. At the reception only you will get the clarification.
Saturday also they will be available till 1:00PM.

Otherwise just give them a call.

I have attended at least 2 out 3 parent meetings.its very good at least equally good compared to other schools such as sindhi etc...
My daughter lost one academic year compared to Sindhi and ofcourse one more year being its 4 yrs at Vidya Sagar.
Let me know who is not charging for application fees ?

it is just not a piece of paper charged an amount as application fees.
further they need to spend the same for scrutiny of each application, and conduct 1/2 day long interview process etc.... definitely needs money for this whole process.

Its one of the best school, or i can say equally good school compared to any other schools that you may mention about.
Suggest to en-quire good schools and may post them with comparison rather mere criticism.
I enquired about 3 schools including sindhi school. Sindhi school teachers also.
then only i joined my daughter to this school.

20 out of 20 people (well educated, noteworthy personalities. some of thier kids studies in vidyasagar and sindhi) suggested this school.

17 out of 20 suggested me sindhi as second option (including teachers in sindhi school - this is what turned my wife's mind towards vidyasagar) . and remaining suggested any school is okay.

my daughter got admission in vidyasagar first, later also got in sindhi (by that time we paid fees). Even though i left the decision to my wife who wants the kid to, not to loose acadamic years and wants cbse syllabus.

Finally decided to join her vidyasagar. Nice school.

Admission procedure is not transparent ....would geniunely want to know how can a school issue 2000 application forms for 270 seats...atleast the parents need to know why thier child is not selected or do they follow the lottery system as someone has mentioned . Also , we were made to wait for 3hours to meet the principal just to be told that our application... more»

Hi Shuba,

There are three terms for playgroup. Each term approx. we have to pay 13500.
So for a year it comes to 40000 Rs. There is caution deposit of 20000 Rs before joining which will be returned after 4 years.

My daughter was there on 26th of Nov 2013 for the interactive sessions. We were asked to go to left left corner room on ground floor. One table filled with blocks, rings, colour pencils book toys was attached with one chair for parent akd one for child. My daughter was there on 26th of Nov 2013 for the interactive sessions. We were asked to go to left left corner room on ground floor. One table filled with blocks, rings, colour pencils book toys was attached with one chair for parent akd one for child.
Teachers were observing how the child was interacting with the objects on the table, my daughter did not interact with sand water etc. School called me on the same day and confirmed that child has been selected for the admission.

I am neither rich nor i have any connection. I believe they have a fair process in place.

I will reply to you point by point.I got admission for my daughter last year for playgroup.
1) It is one of best schools and there will be competition for it obviously. Yes interview process is rigorous because it is very difficult for them to shortlist children from 1000+ applications. This is not an government organisation or ration shop to have first come first serve.
2) There is no illegality in asking to give option 1 or option 2. Can you please explain what is your problem in that? It is their process and they have to follow.
3) Do you think is it an government school? and one more information for you if you don't know in any case please compare the donation and fees of other schools and this school.
4) There is no preference as you say. Please do some research before criticizing any thing. Vidya shilp and Vidya niketan are 2 high schools of same institutes. If you have chosen Vidya niketan. 60- 70 % of parents select Vidya niketan as it is well established and popular than shilp. Interviewing first or last doesn't change your chances of getting seat in that school. Ofcourse they have some preferences like if the children whose siblings studying in same schools and preferring elder children like nearing 3 years.
