Those who have opted for Vidya Shilp will get admission even if child performs average in Interview, but those whose parents are Kannadiga and opted for Vidya Niketan there seems to be a tough road even if child performs well. Reasons- First preference given to Siblings of Vidya Niketan, Next to those who have opted for Vidya Shilp, Next to if you are a Gujarati or Malayali, Next if you are residing in Sadashivanagar and many criterias are seen as there is no transperency in selection to VNS. So please keep another school as option before you attend the Interaction for Vidya Niketan. «less

we also attended on 26th morning but not received any call.. Do you have any other person contact who have attended on 26th ?

but i had been to school today at 10.20am and by 3:45 i got a call that my kid has been selected.
iam so happy.
anyways can anybody tell whose kid is selected and what they have applied for? niketan or shilp?

The children who are selected are informed immediately by same evening or the next day if the interaction was on saturday.

Hi Archana, Yes, we know two more friends whose children had an interaction on 26th morning. They also havent got any calls. I am pretty upset too and called the school. Hi Prasad : Are you talking about 2012 admission right? bcoz they said they will tell the result within 15 days.. Do they tell the results so much early..

We got a call for my Kids interaction session just after 15 days from the day I submitted the application. Kid and his mother attended the interaction session which is a very simple process. They leave about 3-4 Kids and the parent in a place with some toys and leave them free. After about 10-15 mins the session got over and we returned. Just after... more»

We got a call for my Kids interaction session just after 15 days from the day I submitted the application. Kid and his mother attended the interaction session which is a very simple process. They leave about 3-4 Kids and the parent in a place with some toys and leave them free. After about 10-15 mins the session got over and we returned. Just after 2 days we got the call sayin our kid has ben selected and they gave us the date for admission and paying the fee (between 23-24-25 Nov.). When we asked one of the office bearer about the criteria for admission she said "It is just the how the child & mother interacting and communicating with each & nothing else." However I also feel that there could be some other criterias which is they dont publish ...are "Parents profession, company they work, How far/near they stay from the school.etc etc."

Overall it looked pretty transperant to us...
