Hi Gautham, Hav opted for EuroKids, Hebbal-Kempapura. Its just 1 km from my apt. After playgroup, I'll shift my kid to Jain which is just next door, 500 ft from my apt!! BTW, I evaluated quite a few pre-schools around here including Kidzee, DPS, EuroKids, and some others, and found EuroKids to b quite good. Also, two of my friends kids showed a remarkable... more»

Hi DS/Simi, My daughter is Feb-2010 born, and we've not yet got any call from VS. I hav blocked a seat in EuroKids, just in case, but i think it would be futile to wait for a call from VS. I hav heard from some ppl that VS has started interviewing kids with DoB starting from May-2009. So there's a very slim chance of kids born after Nov-2009 getting... more»

My daughter is Feb-2010 born, and we've not yet got any call from VS. I hav blocked a seat in EuroKids, just in case, but i think it would be futile to wait for a call from VS. I hav heard from some ppl that VS has started interviewing kids with DoB starting from May-2009. So there's a very slim chance of kids born after Nov-2009 getting into VS. That's just my personal view, but we should be lucky if we get a call!!
BTW, I would prefer CBSE school as starting next year (2012/2013), all Engineering/Medical entrance exams would be centralized based on CBSE syllabus. Though, its very early in your kid's career, but it is easy for you get admission in a good CBSE school in pre-school/nursery and continue till XII, rather than transferring your kid mid-career from ICSE/state-board to CBSE. «less

Hi Soni,Mayur and prasad, Just back from interaction session.She was exited seeing many things around and tried everything like sand, toys,coloring,clay and the staff asked me if the child can speak or recognize things,when i said yes..they asked me to make the child speak something.Not sure about the result.Thank you all for the support. I wanted to know what your kids did in the room or how the parent interacted. Have my daughter's interaction tomorrow, i just cant explain how tensed and nervous i am.

As soon as the kids are left inside the interaction room with multiple sets of toys etc. the kids are just excited and as soon as they are asked to play they just go and pick something what they like. And then onwards they just observe how kids play....how mom and the kid speak to each (irrespective what language). I am not sure what... more»

As soon as the kids are left inside the interaction room with multiple sets of toys etc. the kids are just excited and as soon as they are asked to play they just go and pick something what they like. And then onwards they just observe how kids play....how mom and the kid speak to each (irrespective what language). I am not sure what are the points they consider out of this interaction though. However my feeling is they see if the kid and mom (or dad) have good communication, is the kid able comunicate what he/she feels and needs and is the parent understand what the kid is communicating.

These are important as going forward the school teachers will interact with the kids and it is important for them to see all these may be.

All kids / parent may not be perefect at that point in time...kid may not be in mood at that moment...etc. can cause some issue for the admission. But there are other points also which i believe that they consider for admission...viz. parents occupation, how far they stay etc. and these could be their internals ...but this is what i could sense.

About transperancy ..open etc I have no comments ..."Education" is a big business now, they also think beyond good education now a days :)

Hi savitha,
Don't get tense & nervous it will effect on ur kid also. try to be normal as u with ur kid at home.
They'll see how the child & mother interacting and communicating with each other.

Hi savitha, Just dont get nervous. they dont ask anything to the kid.they just watch how the kid interacts with the parent. whether the kid is active or slow. they dont want the kids to say everything rite but if the kid attempts it thats more than enough for them . i hope that answers ur query savitha. soni and arundati, yes, the capital deposit... more»

yes, the capital deposit is rs 20000/- refundable .
the fees is 12000/- for tution fees per quarter and 3000/- for maintanence. which is 15000/- per quarter for 3 quarters.
also 1500/- is charged with the first pay as admission fees.

fees 16500 is fees and 20000 security (refundable).
i think every 3months we have to pay 16500.

My Son had the interaction session on 26th Nov. And he got the call for selection on 28th Nov.
In the Interaction session he had some toy on the table and some book and they just allowed the kid to play with it.
Few question were asked to Mom about the daily routes etc.
