Gd afternoon ancy, The preparation for IAS is of many folds like GS subjects,CSAT,optional .Exam is conducted in 3 steps prelims,mains & interview.You need to have basic understanding on subjects when you take classes from anywhwere( online or offline).otherwise it will be difficult for anyone to uderstand the concepts. I am suggesting you to start with reading CBSE NCERT books ,ATLAS & NEWS PAPER READING first & proceed further. it will take a atleast 9 months . so start there. Basically It takes 4 months. You have to go through NCERT from class 6 to 12. Also you need to read at least 9 months to read The Hindu and Indian express newspapers.
