You can watch English movies with subtitles at first to get the hang of the language then later start watching them without the subtitles. This will help you to pick up new vocabulary, the pronunciation of words and so on. You can also chat with native speakers of English to pick up the language.

Hello Dear Suri,

I teach english to students and trust me its not that hard as it seems to be. Without any coaching you can learn it at home with the help of few books, laptop/mobile phone, tv and most importantly A dictionary.

Buy books or ebooks which can give you basic knowledge of English Grammer, Ncerts are also okay, with the help of laptop/mobile read basic language essays and paragraphs etc. And not down all hard words and get all the meaning from Dictionary, from tv watch movies with subtitles, learn English songs with meanings etc.

Apart from this use few sentence in your daily life or you can join courses online too.

Don't worry you can learn, don't hesitate and don't feel shy. Start speaking it without any fear and practice more in front of mirror in loud voice, it will build up your skill and confidence too.

What you need to do is mentioned below:

1. The easiest step is to learn your favourite English songs by heart and sing them along with the singer.

2. Listen to English podcasts and watch a few youtube channels of native English speakers. This is the right way to learn a lot of new words, set phrases and collocations of everyday speech.

3. Read short online articles on the subject of your interest. Then try to retell them using new words and phrases. It is very important to read articles from the native English sources, like British / American websites.

4. Get a good grammar book like Essential Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy or Advanced Grammar in Use by Martin Hewings. If you want people to understand you and not to sound wrong or funny, grammar is important. Using grammar wrong creates confusion.

5. There are so many interesting free websites and blogs for learning English that will help you improve your grammar, will teach you new words and idioms, will give you many useful tips and so on.

Good luck to everyone!
