Dear Mr Ganesh SAP is an ERP software to be used by the business organisations to record the day to day transactions that occur. ERP means Enterprise Resource Planning. The expansion of SAP is Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing. This will have several Modules like Finance, Controlling , Materials Management , Production Planning , Quality Management , Plant maintenance and Human Resources etc. these are called Functional modules. There are technical areas like BASIS and ABAP. Depending on the background of the candidate one can learn one module and establish your career. it is a ready made software package suitable for variety of enterprises (manufacturing, service, education,mining,real estate etc) to automate their business processes (like purchasing, production planning, inventory management, sales, HR, payroll ,fianancial management etc) bu automating the transactions used in these processes.
