0Material Master Configuration
Make field as Display, Optional and Required entry
Now the material group is optional. We will see how to make this field as required.
Step 1: Check the field and table name.
Select the field Material group and click on F1
Click on the technical information icon
Check the Field name of material group.
Enter the transaction code OMS9
- Click on field selection group and click on find icon and enter the field name matkl.
Double click over the field name and enter.
Click on Position in Field reference tab enter the MM01 where we wanna make it as mandatory.
For field selection column select the required field and save.
Go to MM01 transaction and check the material group field.
