IdentityI am an Industrial and Systems Engineering graduate from the National University of Singapore, one of the best colleges in the world. I have been in the education sector continuously throughout my ten-year career. Apart from being an experienced and passionate teacher with five years of experience, I also have expertise in curriculum design, pedagogy and best practices in learning. I have worked with students of all proficiency levels. My priority is always to spark curiosity and reconnect learning to real life so that we can have lasting understanding.
The most important thing I focus on is helping students become self-reliant. Children are excellent learners already, and I will give them the right tools and processes to be able to teach themselves anything. This is an essential skill in the 21st century.
As for my experiences so far - I worked with Prep Zone, a premiere coaching institute in Singapore and Mumbai; I co-founded Clicking Together, a Davis Project for Peace awardee photography workshop; I ran my online music academy (Castiko); and most recently I was head of Creative Content at Embibe, a Jio-backed ed-tech company. I am teaching out of pure passion and continuing my family's long-standing legacy of helping students achieve their aims!
I look forward to helping students improve their performance in school and start enjoying these subjects, too.
