"I attended the Self Defense Training session conducted by Rotaract Club of NITIE, Mumbai on 5th mar, 2018. For the first time I saw these many girls attending some session. Mr. Harshad J Salla was our mentor and he taught us very effective tricks and tactics which can be used in risky situations. The training was great and very informational. In just less than 2 hours of this workshop he taught us how to be street smart and a lot of smart self defense techniques. He showed us how to save yourself from people who are stronger than you by using simple things like pins, pen etc. What I like the most is that he makes you feel very comfortable while learning and practising certain techniques. In general girls do not feel comfortable in learning this stuff but he was so good and helped us in trying our hands on several techniques which made the session very practical and engaging. One thing I am very sure about is every girl who participated in that session felt very confident after coming out. It was fun overall. "
