I¡) central atom is Be having 2 valance electron, each Cl atom contribute one electron each . So total 4 electron arround central Be atom ,means 2 electron pair. so these 2 electron pair arrange themselve linearly. there are 2 electron pair and two of them is bond pair. So according to VSEPR theory shape of the molecule is linear
(¡¡)SiCl4 molecule has total (4+4)= 8 electrons. i.e; 4 electron pairs so it is having a tetrahedral arrangement. there is 4 electron pair and all are bond pair .So according to VSEPR theory it is tetrahedral shape.
