Overview

I have completed a Masters degree in English Literature and a Masters degree in Linguistics, both with very high first class and am currently pursuing PhD in Linguistics from Jadavpur University. I have presented several academic papers in national seminars and international conferences. I have also been a Guest Faculty at IGNOU, teaching papers of English at Graduation level. I had also undertaken a two weeks language teaching observation course at Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, Kolkata. I passed my ISC exam in Science stream, with Biology as my elective. My current PhD topic involves Logic as the core branch. During my Graduation in English, I had papers in English Language Education as part of the curriculum. Hence my strengths and area of interests involve English Language, English Literature, and Linguistics, and my skills include excellent knowledge of English language, good communication skills, logic and reasoning, academic writing, public speaking. and fluency in English and Bengali languages.
