I am a student, currently pursuing bachelors in english. I have appeared for my final semester exams under the bachelors degree and shall officially be a graduate in just a few days' time. I have been providing tuitions since the first year of my undergraduate life, which amounts to a little over three years now. I have taught over 7 different children and am also teaching a class 8 child presently. I have published three papers, all of which have been rewarded with much praise. I wish to pursue a career in literature in academics. Literature is often taught in a robotic and mechanical way in schools, failing to offer children with the rich flavour of literature and language. I aim to present literature to children and adolescents in such a way so as to make the lessons palatable to their own lives, such that it is no longer something alien and distant to them. My methology of teaching seeks to engage the students, have them speak in english and share their experiences and interpretations, so as to improve the quality of learning.
