Experience in School or College
I have 10+ years of experience teaching Physics and Mathematics to school students. I have helped hundreds of students overcome their fear of the subjects, understand the fundamentals and thus, score well in their School as well as Board exams. To make the learning effective, I draw heavily from the methods taught to my during my IIT-JEE coaching. Many of my students have made their way to the country's top engineering and medical colleges, which gives me immense satisfaction. For me, the greatest happiness is to see my student feel & visualize the concept. My typical preference of teaching is either one-to-one or restricting to a group size of 4-5 because I know the importance of personal attention. Hence, I primarily work through home tuition. Even during my engineering days, I used to teach local students & professors' kids on a daily basis.

Experience in School or College
I have 10 years of teaching experience of helping hundreds of students with their school & board exams + NTSE- mostly with home tutoring, as I strongly believe in the power of one-to-one attention to a student. I believe in strong feel and fundamental clarity of a concept/ subject.

I'll try to answer it in a structured manner drawing from my experience & what I have learnt from peers:
1. Identify:
It is the most crucial step! Identify which skill you want to develop. It could be for a) Survival - Swimming b) Employability - Coding c) Better quality of life - Meditation d) Recreation - Painting
2. Find a coach: Look for a coach who can guide/teach you. It could be a person/book or an online source! Anything could work!!
3. Set targets: Consult the coach to define your goals assessing your current skill level, and your requirements/ambitions
4. Plan: Set a "realistic plan". I reiterate - it has to be realistic. To lose on it- you take it lightly, and too strict - you lose the motivation.
5. Execute: Stick to the timelines and milestones you have set for yourself. Remember, the plan is sacrosanct!
6. Review & motivate yourself: Do a regular review of your progress with the help of the coach. Give yourself those periodic rewards to celebrate the discipline you've maintained thus far.
7. Step up: Once you've achieved the desired level of skill, it's time to step-up. Go a step deeper into the expertise, or go wider- acquire a new skill. But, just don't stop!
