It's not just about IELTS; you should prepare for any exam as early as possible. It's better to not mug up at the last minute, especially when it comes to tests like IELTS, where you need to learn all the grammar and new vocabulary in advance.

Many students learn the fine points of English grammar, but they often find themselves at a need when it comes to having a conversation with native speakers. In reality, the best way to improve English fluency is by speaking a lot.

Regarding improving English speaking skills, don't forget that listening is the basis for speaking! When you also want to practice speaking, here are some recommendations on how to improve English speaking skills.

  1. It's advantageous to have native speakers around to practice with. Students who are living nearby many English speakers may find this opportunity. If not, joining a club or a volunteer organization can be a great way to know people informally.

  1. If that isn't an option, consider hiring a private tutor who could help you clear all your doubts. Another way to enhance your English speaking skills is to involve yourself in English as fully as possible.

Hope this answer is helpful to you. All the best!
