You have to know the basic fact behind IELTS is that it is co-owned by Cambridge English language Assessment and IELTS Australia, while british council and idp Australia are doing the job of conducting the exams only. There is no special benefits if you take your exam from idp or british council otherthan the availability of the seats for a particular date or which of these two agencies have their exam centre nearby your home. You can choose IDP or BRITISH COUNCIL as per the availability of slot for your preferred date and venue.
