You do not have to have very rich vocab. Relevant vocab is more important. With average vocab you can score more than 7 band if you use it appropriately All the Best Raj

Hi Shilpa,Greetings from Apple Academy. It is very important,particularly in IELTS Academic.However ,for IELTS General you don't have to use Academic vocbulary.

Hi Aditya, MIT doesn't accept IELTS score for the undergraduate admissions, but for graduate and doctorate courses IELTS is considered. IELTS band 7.5 would be considered a good score. Thanks.
