Spanish Language Classes

"Maria maam is an extremely patient, kind and loving teacher. The best thing about her is her helping nature. She goes out of the way to help the kids understand the concepts. Also she has a unique style of teaching which makes her classes fun. My daughter just loves her classes and sometimes even complains as to why she does not have her Spanish tuition classes everyday ;). She has been a great help for me as well as after we started these classes,i did not really have to focus on my daughters language subject. It was completely taken care by Maria maam. Thank you maam for being a guiding star for my daugher. "

"I am the mother of a teenager who was floundering in his high school Spanish classes, regarded them as a distasteful chore, and was very nervous about his periodic tests and exams. After just two or three conversation classes with Maria, his attitude to learning Spanish was completely transformed. Not only did his Spanish ability improve exponentially, startling and delighting his teacher at school, he began to enjoy the process of learning Spanish. He started to look forward to his conversations with Maria, put thought into preparing for them, and found every one of them exhilarating. Spanish is no longer a dreaded and difficult school subject for him. He is actually having fun with it, and gaining in confidence as he realises that he an actually function in a Spanish speaking environment. On a recent family holiday, he was able to find his own way across Barcelona, asking for directions, using public transport and hailing taxis by himself. This is a miraculous change in a diffident teenager who was afraid of his Spanish classes in school. I can't thank Maria enough for gifting him a sound footing in the Spanish language and for opening up the worlds that it offers him. Having witnessed this dramatic change at first hand, I would hugely recommend these lessons with Maria. "

"Speaking with Maria for even 30 mins a week immediately improved my confidence with the language, and importantly, gave me more of an interest in learning it. She is a very clear and patient teacher, and we moved at my pace. Though a native speaker, she had no issue recognising and addressing the difficulties I was having. She's a fantastic teacher and I would recommend her very highly. "

"In my case I really wanted fluency of speaking and not be so bothered about the grammar of past participles and literary forms, which I don't even understand in English. Maria helped me cut through all that and helped me converse confidently. I think she is practical and complements bookish learning perfectly. "

"I had no idea of Spanish when Maria started with me. In a week, I had my verbs and numbers in order. In a month, I was forming (arbitrarily tensed) sentences. And in 3 months I was speaking like a native, though with a limited vocabulary. I think this is a phenomenal trajectory, especially for a person like me who has attempted to learn more than 5 languages during school years and not one stuck. I generally have no interest in language learning but Maria aroused that in me through her inimitable teaching style. "
