1)Photosynthesis serves as a source of energy for all the living organisms and plants are the primary producers in any food chain.

2)Through photosynthesis, plants also purify air by taking in carbon dioxide and giving out oxygen.

Law of conservation of mass states that mass can neither be created nor be destroyed, it can only be transformed from one form to another in a chemical reaction. Thus for a chemical equation to obey the law of conservation of mass, it has to be balanced.
