I am a graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia, a central university located in Delhi. I also completed my schooling from Delhi itself. I was enrolled in Masters in Peace and Conflict Resolution- an interdisciplinary course, but couldn't complete it due to financial constraints. I was the topper in 11th, in top 5 in class 12th, in top 5 in my graduation class and topper in the 1st semester of my Masters. I believe in practical learning rather than rote learning.

Rote learning leads to stagnation. Its important to relate the topics with ongoing scenarios, and the incidents of the past. Once the student developes an understanding of the subject, he/she is expected to sail through easily. Political science is different from other subjects of Arts. Apart from the arts component, it has a science component too which requires in depth understanding. Political science graduates with good understanding of the subject often gets admitted to prestigious institution like JNU. Also, political science may also provide a good base for UPSC aspirants whether they opt for political science in mains or not.
