I have taught students from the very basics of Spanish and have seen them grow into proficient Spanish speakers in the course of a year. One needs to have dedication and continuous practice and I help the students to keep on practicing day in and day out. Learning Spanish is a lot of fun and makes you feel confident about yourself as you advance through the levels. The benefit here would be that its very scoring and you can get full marks easily.
