I am in the final year of my B. El. Ed. course with specialization in mathematics. I have completed 4 months of primary teaching along with 1 month of middle school teaching in classes 3 and 7 respectively. In the primary section I engaged with my students teaching Mathematics, Language, and EVS through experiential learning. Children were engaged in the learning process with through learning based activities including engagement with hands on materials. I have understood through my teaching experience as well as my knowledge from throughout the course that children can excel in learning only when it is meaningful and contextual to them. So I plan my lessons in such a way that the students are able to make the most meaning out of the learning with the help of their own context.
