I'm a 2 year experienced tutor in Science. It was very difficult to start with as I didn't actually do teacher training. When I started, there was such a shortage of science teachers that with a science degree you could just start immediately. But such shortage span of time and immense pressure helped me bring out the best of me. As of now, I think I enjoy teaching immensely and now don't need to be guided how to do it. There is a mixture of students. I have to understand the intelligence of each one of them and continue with my classes accordingly. For example to cover students with low intelligence, I've to make worksheets to help them with concepts thoroughly. Teaching profession brings with it lots of responsibilities as it allows you to put everything that you've learnt about your subject matter into action. I spent a lot of time preparing each lesson plan and worked hard to research different ways to present the information to my class. As such, I realized that I needed to be prepared as much as possible, but more importantly, I needed to prepare to be flexible as you never know what's going to come up or what will catch student's attention. I got a profound sense of how the classroom environment is for most instructors. In, general I believe this was a pleasant experience for me, and I learned a lot in such a brief period.
