KVPY exam is Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana Exam, national level scholarship program basically meant to encourage kids to persue Science research career.
This exam is for 11th, 12, B.Sc and M.Sc. students
It is conducted every year once and its application fees is 1250rs
Mode of exam is online and of 100 marks for 3 hrs.

KVPY exams are not conducted for Class 9.
Now the scholarship is changed to a program called INSPIRE-SHE. This scholarship can be availed by candidates who are pursuing Basic Sciences(B.Sc).
The eligibility has been change to Neet score/ Higher Secondary marks / IIT marks/NTSE and similar exams.
