Hello Gaurav,
I am a physics teacher having experience of 9 years in IIT JEE coaching classes.
HC Verma is for 11thand 12th standard book so in my opinion you should purchase it when you enter in 11th class with science math/ bio option.
HC verma is very good book for IITJEE preparation.now in class 9th you just focus on school books and build basic concept in maths and science because it will help you in class 11th.
if you are taking coaching for foundation then solve coaching material rigoursly. because it will enhance your analytical skills.
